Mustafa Noor

Mustafa Noor, MD, FACP Dr. Noor has over 18 years of experience in all phases of clinical development focused on cardiometabolic, endocrine and rare diseases in both large and small companies. Most recently, Dr. Noor was Chief Development Officer at Akcea Therapeutics and was responsible for the integrated activities of clinical development overseeing a portfolio of antisense oligonucleotides for rare cardiometabolic diseases. Dr. Noor has also held senior level positions in clinical development at Ipsen, GSK’s Center of Excellence in External Drug Discovery (CEEDD), Pfizer’s Centers for Therapeutic Innovation (CTI) and BMS.

Dr. Noor completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Chicago and fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He is certified in internal medicine and the subspecialty of endocrinology & metabolism. Dr. Noor also holds a Master’s Degree in clinical research from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
